Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our Transformer division in Cordoba factory. As a Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate execution of contract and risk management activities, protecting the company's interests throughout the project's lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities:- Provide contract management support and reviews for sales and marketing teams and project management office.
- Lead contract management activities for assigned portfolio or project, ensuring compliance with procedures and providing guidance to cross-functional project teams.
- Develop contract management strategy considering policies, customer requirements, consortium partner interfaces, and overall execution strategy while identifying contract baselines and assessing areas of opportunity and risk.
- Oversee timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects within contract portfolios/subcontracts, including payments, claims, variation orders, warranties, and provisions.
- Support marketing and sales process during tender stage to ensure legal terms and conditions are fully aligned with company guidelines and policies.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales team during risk assessment process for new proposals, following defined process and tools to ensure timely internal approvals.
- Verify all parties fulfill contractual obligations and assess contract's success, identifying lessons learned for future contracting.
- Document and communicate deficiencies, changes, and claims, while establishing and enforcing standard methodologies.
- Collaborate with HE Legal on negotiation strategies, dispute resolution, and settlement agreements drafting, highlighting potential opportunity and risk and ensuring settlement terms protect company interests.
