About the Role

Amazon Data Services Spain, S. L. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Installation Specialist to join our Infrastructure Delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and testing cabling and network devices in our state-of-the-art data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and test copper and fiber optic cabling to ensure seamless connectivity
  • Build and troubleshoot network devices to ensure optimal performance
  • Manage inventory of related materials and adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient deployment and operation of data center infrastructure
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in data center installation and maintenance
  • Ability to work at heights and in cramped spaces
  • Regularly lift 15kg or move heavy objects into position with 2 persons or equipment support
  • Personal car and ability to travel within geographical work area
