About Us

Cameco is a leading global provider of uranium fuel for nuclear power plants. Our Cigar Lake mine in northern Saskatchewan is one of the world's highest-grade uranium mines, producing uranium for safe, reliable, and emissions-free nuclear power.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of underground millwrights and heavy-duty mechanics at our Cigar Lake mine. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of maintenance professionals to sustainably maximize the use of assets
  • Ensuring processes are followed and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Coaching and developing a team of problem solvers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson certification or a technical diploma in a related discipline
  • 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome applicants with:

  • Saskatchewan supervisory certificate
  • First aid certificate
  • Previous working experience using SAP
