Job Title: Operational Buyer - Engineering and Contracting

We are seeking an experienced Operational Buyer to join our team in Suria, Spain. As an Operational Buyer, you will be responsible for executing technical procurement activities aligned with our global sourcing strategies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Participate in sourcing activities to achieve cost reductions while maintaining or improving service quality or vendor service levels.
  • Prepare purchase orders in our ERP system (SAP) and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiate and close framework agreements.
  • Maintain and develop in-depth knowledge of suppliers, markets, and trends of the Contractors sub-category.
  • Engage in commercial negotiations and interactions with suppliers.
  • Monitor performances of vendors and their compliance with their commitments.
  • Address and solve operational issues with suppliers.
  • Monitor and resolve any payment processing challenges.
  • Review, prepare, verify, and/or approve financial and business transactions within established frameworks and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or higher.
  • Total 5+ years of experience and at least 3 years of relevant work in procurement.
  • Understanding of contracting services markets.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Strong negotiation skills and result-driven personality.
  • Excellent interpersonal, business acumen, communication, and supplier relations skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and in a matrix management style organization.
  • Strategic thinker and pragmatic worker.
