Job Title: Rig Electrician

Job Description:

Mar Recruitment & Consulting is seeking a skilled Rig Electrician to join our team for an offshore project in Egypt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily maintenance and checks of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Carry out tasks according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan.
  • Conduct risk evaluations, take necessary precautions, and obtain work permits before starting maintenance activities.
  • Attend safety drills and meetings, and report any safety hazards, accidents, or non-conformities.
  • Maintain working areas, tools, and equipment in a safe and clean condition.
  • Properly maintain electrical systems, switchboards, and related equipment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on Semi-Sub / Drillships (not Jack-Up only).
  • Availability for immediate start.
  • Experience in this role and ability to work in Europe.

Benefits:

  • Position: Rig Electrician
  • Location: Egypt – Offshore / Worldwide
  • Contract start: As soon as possible
  • Contract duration: 12 months (renewable)
  • Work/leave rotation: 28 working days paid / 28 unpaid leave days
  • Working hours: 12 Hours X 7 Days a week
  • Salary: TBC
  • Overtime payment: applicable
  • Probationary Period: 60 days
  • Notice Period: 30 days
  • Accommodation: provided by the company
  • Transportation: Economy class provided by the company at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation cycle
