Marketing Manager for B2B SaaS Startup

We're seeking a seasoned marketing professional to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth for Plytix, a leading PIM software company based in Malaga, Spain.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B SaaS marketing, with expertise in all aspects of marketing, including SEO, video, paid ads, marketing automation, and more.

As our Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating a marketing team of 8-10 talented professionals, with a focus on driving leads and growth through effective marketing strategies.

You will work closely with the CEO to develop and implement a powerful marketing strategy, oversee all marketing campaigns and projects, and liaise with sales, customer success, and other departments to accelerate growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the marketing department to accelerate company growth
  • Implementing and overseeing a comprehensive marketing strategy
  • Handling multiple projects and allocating resources based on priorities and business goals
  • Coaching and mentoring direct reportees to help them reach their full potential
  • Hiring and training new talent for the marketing team
  • Overseeing all marketing campaigns and projects
  • Liaising with the CEO on setting marketing strategy, goals, and budgets
  • Liaising with sales, customer success, and other departments to accelerate growth
  • Creating reports and dashboards for the CEO

After 1 month, you will be trained in PIM basics and have gained a working knowledge of our software. You will also have spent time engaging with our customer success team and observing client interactions.

After 3 months, you will be effectively managing the marketing department and have taken ownership of Asana, our project management tool. Your focus will be on coordinating projects and resources based on priorities set by yourself and the CEO.

After 6 months, you will be expected to show how our marketing performance has improved since you took over. You will be working closely with the CEO to expand and improve on the marketing strategy to drive growth.
