Area Manager

Amazon is seeking a skilled Area Manager to lead a large and diverse team in a fast-paced logistics environment. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety and wellbeing, analyzing and implementing corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity are consistently high, and supporting and leading a team to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, advanced proficiency in English and local language, and relevant experience in data analysis. Additionally, experience in a logistical working environment, communication with stakeholders, and working with the MS Office suite is highly valued. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing
* Analyze and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity are consistently high
* Support and lead a team to achieve business objectives
* Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service
* Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes
**A Day in the Life:**
As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency, prioritize routine team management and daily operational tasks, and work with colleagues in other teams and external partners to meet customer demands and targets.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree)
* Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language
* Relevant experience in performing data analysis
* Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
* Experience in a logistical working environment
* Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
