Manufacturing Operations Foreman

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Foreman within Airbus Defence and Space.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the production team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary duties of the role include:
1. Overseeing the production floor organization to align with program objectives, ensuring delivery on QTCP (Quality, Time, Cost, and Performance) commitments to clients through:
a. Effective management of production activities.
b. Coordinating workshop management and operator teams, ensuring operational alignment across all GNTs and support departments.
c. Leading and nurturing OES concepts, advocating for continuous improvements to enhance processes.
d. Monitoring daily production status, leading L1 SQCDPF board discussions, and participating in L2 SQCDPF boards.
2. Guaranteeing the availability of necessary parts and resources for the program.
3. Coordinating and overseeing on-site subcontractors, ensuring all external operations meet QTCP standards.
4. Ensuring that the team possesses the necessary skills and competencies to achieve objectives.
5. Managing personnel development, recommending training programs and career advancement initiatives.
6. Establishing participation, communication, and motivation strategies for the teams in the area.
7. Upholding compliance with applicable rules and procedures related to Ethics & Compliance, Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.
8. Creating a clear and efficient working environment recognized by the entire team, promoting Airbus values and vision.
REQUIRED SKILLS

- Education: Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the relevant area.
- Soft Skills: High adaptability to new challenges, business environments, and networking.
- Languages: Proficient in English.
