We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the Expedia Group, Inc. Commercial Programs team. As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be integral in supporting key cross-functional programs that drive growth to the business.
Your role will involve translating complex financial data into clear, executive-level presentations that inform business decisions. You will provide financial modelling and analysis, identifying risks and opportunities within ongoing projects.
You will be a business partner to a wide array of stakeholders across Sales, Commercial Finance, Partner Finance, Accounting, Tax, and wider Expedia Group, Inc. business & project teams.
To excel in this role, you will need to be a confident communicator, comfortable with some ambiguity, and adept at driving value and leadership insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Finance Manager in understanding and navigating key commercial programs and operational issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including Sales, Commercial Finance, Partner Finance, Accounting, Tax, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
- Translate complex financial data and issues into compelling, executive-level presentations that support informed business decision-making.
- Provide financial modelling and analysis to support strategic business decisions and scenario planning.
- Identify risks and opportunities within ongoing projects and present actionable insights to the Senior Manager for acceleration or mitigation.
- Provide ad hoc finance support as and when required.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of prior experience within a finance function.
- Finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA etc. or degree) or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong modelling skills with the ability to analyse raw data and convert it into useful insights.
- Ability to present data & insights in a visually compelling format to finance and non-finance audiences.
- Highly organized with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple workstreams across multiple time zones.
- Work collaboratively and constructively with a range of partners to challenge the status quo, drive positive change and process improvement.
