About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Operations Specialist to join our team at Importante empresa. As a Tax Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our IPT operations and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of tax data.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and resolve missing or pending tax schedules through various reporting and claims.
  2. Verify tax schedule accuracy and consistency using IPT tools.
  3. Generate tax schedules as required.
  4. Capture IPT data in underwriting systems.
  5. Respond to queries from stakeholders regarding IPT entries.
  6. Collaborate with Credit Control to address overdue, incorrect, and unallocated cash.
  7. Monitor backlogs and provide timely updates.
  8. Produce accurate management information through reports and KPIs.
  9. Develop and improve processes for automation.
  10. Review and update IPT operations documentation.
  11. Ensure timely and accurate controls entry.
  12. Interact with other teams, including Credit Control, Finance, Compliance, and Underwriting, on IPT-related matters.
  13. Participate in cross-team and intra-team projects.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Economics, Law, or Administration.
  2. Proven administrative experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services sectors.
  3. Insurance experience is advantageous.
  4. Operational and organizational experience is welcome.
  5. Accurate and numerate.
  6. Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  7. Effective communication and motivational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Strong time management and prioritization skills.
