They specialize in various lines of insurance, including professional indemnity, directors and officers, crime, healthcare, property, environmental liability, cyber liability, marine, reinsurance, accident and life, and political risks and contingency business.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Tax Operations Specialist, you will work closely with our teams to provide support and expertise on IPT matters. You will be responsible for tax data entry in underwriting systems and will answer to various queries stakeholders might address.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify missing/pending tax schedules through various reporting and claim for them.
  2. Check tax schedule accuracy and consistency through IPT tools.
  3. Generate tax schedules when required.
  4. Capture IPT in appropriate underwriting systems.
  5. Deal with stakeholders on queries related to IPT entries.
  6. Liaise with Credit Control to aid with overdue, incorrect, and unallocated cash.
  7. Monitor backlogs.
  8. Provide accurate management information by producing reports and KPIs.
  9. Improve and develop processes of automatization.
  10. Review and update IPT Ops processing documentation.
  11. Deliver with quality and timeliness.
  12. Ensure timely and accurate controls entry.
  13. Interact with other teams within our organization, i.e., Credit Control, Finance, Compliance, and other underwriting teams on matters related to IPT.
  14. Participate in cross-team and intra-team projects.

Requirements

  1. You have a degree in Economics, Law, Administration.
  2. You have a proficient level of English and Spanish. Any additional language would be a plus.
  3. You have a proven administrative experience, preferably within the insurance or financial services sectors.
  4. You have some insurance experience advantageous.
  5. You have some operational and organizational experience will be welcomed.
  6. You are accurate and numerate.
  7. You have great computer skills - good working knowledge of MS Office (intermediate/advanced Excel).
  8. You are able to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and written.
  9. You have motivational skills, team worker as well as able to work on own initiative.
  10. You are able to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritize.
