Job Summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling holiday preview packages to guests via inbound and outbound calls, exceeding minimum production requirements set by management, and liaising with owners to generate new prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sell Holiday Preview Packages: Sell holiday preview packages to guests via inbound and outbound calls to likely prospects.
  2. Build Relationships with Owners: Contact owners to build relationships and request referrals / offer packages when available.
  3. Complete Bookings: Complete bookings by obtaining flight details.
  4. Exceed Production Requirements: Exceed minimum production requirements set by management.
  5. Qualify Potential Purchasers: Qualify all potential purchasers of holiday previews.
  6. Provide Excellent Service: Actively provide service which exceeds our guests' expectations.
  7. Manage Client Contact Log: Maintain a client contact log and reservation details on Goldmine as lead tracking system.
  8. Manage Call-Backs: Manage all call-backs on a daily basis pro rata.
  9. Obey Departmental and Procedural Rules: Obey all departmental and procedural rules.
  10. Generate Guest Correspondence: Use standard templates and generate appropriate guest correspondence where necessary.
  11. Complete Verification and Compliance Calls: Complete verification and compliance calls as requested.
  12. Sell Regional Holiday Preview Packages: Sell regional holiday preview packages to guests via inbound and outbound calls to likely prospects.
  13. Verify and Activate Pre-Sold Packages: Verify and activate pre-sold packages such as web, CMD, Outreach, Encore, IPC and POS, as well as any new regional programs as required.
  14. Complete Quality Assurance Checks: Complete Quality Assurance checks for holiday ownership purchasers where the sale was via a Broker.
  15. Act as Liaison with Brokers and Package Generators: Act as liaison with Brokers & package generators as requested.
  16. Contact Owners, Members and Prospects: Contact owners, Members and prospects to offer Virtual Sales Presentations for European MVC resorts or 47 Park Street.
  17. Ensure Eligibility of Clients: Ensure eligibility of clients for sales presentations checking qualification criteria is met including where relevant attending together with their partner / spouse & agreement on the gift for staying on the call for the required length of time.
  18. Send Confirmation Letters: Send confirmation letters to client booked on appointments.
  19. Re-Confirm Appointments: Re-confirm appointment the day / morning before, and ensure client understands how to use the 'Teams' system for the appointment.
  20. Host Virtual Sales Presentations: At the time of the appointment, join the meeting before and host the client / hand over to the Sales / Member Executive.
  21. Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues relating to the attendance of the client at the appointment (i.e. no show, cxl, no partner, refusal to stay for the required time).
  22. Manage Appointment Schedule: Manage the appointment schedule for the SE's assigned to virtual tours.
  23. Generate Guest Correspondence: Generate guest correspondence where necessary.
  24. Compliance Calls: Compliance calls as requested.
Requirements

Perform all tasks in a timely manner ensuring all deadlines are met. Perform other related tasks as assigned by management. Comply with MVCI and Marriott International policies and procedures. Be proactive and have a flexible approach to work, always meeting the needs of the team and the business. Maintain an attitude and commitment to provide excellent service to all customers and associates. Respond sensitively to the needs and feelings of others, regardless of status or position; accept interpersonal differences and maintain a constructive rapport with all associates and customers. Maintain computer systems knowledge (Windows, e-mail, Word, OTM, Marsha etc). Work with all MVCI colleagues as a team, always supporting the needs within that team and those of the business.
