About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic development team at OmniAccess. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the exceptional quality of our software products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implement Testing Infrastructure: Collaborate with the technical development leader to design, schedule, and implement testing infrastructure and activities for various development projects.
  2. Conduct Comprehensive Testing: Conduct thorough testing, primarily automated with minimal manual validations, to ensure the quality of our software products.
  3. Develop Test Plans and Cases: Design, define, and maintain test plans for different development activities, and collaborate with the core development team to design, specify, implement, and execute test cases and acceptance criteria.
  4. Lead Release Management: Lead release management procedures, ensuring seamless deployment of our software products.
  5. Enhance Test and CI Frameworks: Maintain and enhance test and continuous integration (CI) frameworks as needed, and develop new testing tools to improve our software development processes.
  6. Execute Automation Scripts: Execute automation scripts for new functionality and regression testing, ensuring the quality of our software products.
  7. Define and Implement CI Procedures: Define and implement CI procedures, incorporating field trials and pilot validation mechanisms into software development processes.
  8. Explore and Evaluate New Tools: Explore, evaluate, and benchmark new tools to enhance our software development processes.
  9. Create Technical Documentation: Create technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
Requirements
  1. Software Quality Assurance Experience: At least 1 year of experience in software quality assurance testing, preferably with web and mobile applications in the software development domain.
  2. Automated Testing Experience: At least 1 year of experience in automated testing, including defining test cases and acceptance criteria.
  3. Proficiency in Implementing Test Cases: Proficiency in implementing, automating, and executing test cases.
  4. Passion for Technology: Passion for technology, with a constant pursuit of excellence and the ability to think outside the box when it comes to product and services definition and framework perspectives.
  5. Agile Team Experience: Experience working in agile teams, with knowledge of continuous integration and familiarity with at least one CD / CI framework (preferably Gitlab CD / CI).
  6. Programming Language Skills: Proficiency in at least one of the following languages, such as Python or Go, is preferred.
  7. Web and Mobile Application Knowledge: Familiarity with web-based and mobile applications, as well as knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, such as (preferred).
  8. Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactive problem-solving abilities, driven by self-motivation.
