We are seeking a skilled Local Writer to join our team at the Euro Weekly News, the largest community newspaper in Spain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting local news and events in the Torrevieja and surrounding region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting local news and events
  • Writing engaging articles for our newspaper
  • Conducting interviews with local residents and officials
  • Researching and verifying information
  • Meeting deadlines and working efficiently

Requirements:

  • Native English language skills
  • Ability to write well and concisely
  • Interest in current affairs and local news
  • Flexibility and ability to work to deadlines
  • Must have own transport
  • Must be FULLY legal to work in Spain and live in Torrevieja or surrounding area
  • Must have current updated references
