Your Role

You will oversee and coordinate all Test & Commissioning activities for the project, supporting the Project Manager to ensure adherence to the project's strategy, including Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments, as well as compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and professional practices. Your daily interactions will involve close collaboration with various teams across the organization, including project management and engineering.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking charge of the QCD commitments for the T&C Work Package.
  • Proactively managing internal interfaces with Project Engineering, Industrial, and Warranty teams, along with external relationships with partners, third parties, and clients.
  • Implementing T&C processes in the field and ensuring adherence by the T&C team throughout the projects.
  • Developing and managing Test & Commissioning plans, procedures, and method statements, while coordinating staffing and training for the T&C team.
  • Preparing and overseeing Test & Commissioning operations on-site, including materials, tools, documentation, personnel, access, and logistics.
  • Ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, reporting and anticipating potential issues.
  • Managing tools and organizing precise calibration.
  • Ensuring all design-related issues are accurately documented in the appropriate tools, including defect descriptions and associated testing contexts.
  • Monitoring and managing QCD performance delivery (including EHS and Railway safety) of the T&C work package in accordance with customer and system requirements.
  • Compiling lessons learned from T&C activities and suggesting updates or improvements to T&C processes, tools, and the T&C Reference Library to enhance performance.

About You

We prioritize enthusiasm and attitude over experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, the following qualifications will contribute to your success in this role:

  • A Master's degree in engineering (preferably in electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking); knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • Over 5 years of experience in T&C or V&V activities related to signalling projects.
  • Experience managing projects with a focus on Quality, Cost, and Delivery objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple subsystems and a comprehensive understanding of system integration.
  • Experience overseeing projects from a T&C perspective.
  • Proven ability to manage resources in T&C projects.
  • Willingness to travel for short or extended assignments in various locations.
  • Availability to work on-site, including night shifts.
  • A valid driving license.
