Job Summary

Tcr International is seeking a highly skilled Airport Service Technician/Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal availability of our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance of GSE: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our GSE to ensure they are in good working condition.
  2. 5S Workshop Participation: Actively participate in maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
  3. Independent Maintenance: Independently carry out maintenance and servicing on GSE and/or Commercial Trucks based on our standard processes.
  4. Transportation: Safely and securely transport GSE and/or Commercial Trucks.
  5. Basic Repairs: Perform basic and general repairs on a range of GSE and/or Commercial Trucks, including electrical repairs.
  6. Documentation: Accurately document maintenance and repairs in our system.
  7. Reporting: Report and discuss with the supervisor any damage or work that does not belong to the prescribed work.
  8. OEHS Participation: Actively participate in our Occupational Health and Safety (OEHS) process by understanding and complying with our OEHS policy, procedures, and requirements.
Administrative Support
  1. Work Order Reporting: Accurately report on work orders in our system.
  2. Time Sheet Reporting: Complete and submit time sheets in our system.
  3. Spare Parts Management: Properly scan and manage spare parts on work orders.
  4. Vehicle Inspection: Inspect commissioned vehicles for hours, water, oil, and lights.
  5. Damage Reporting: Report and discuss with the supervisor any damage or work that does not belong to the prescribed work.
  6. Maintenance Checklists: Complete TCR maintenance checklists.
  7. Repair Documentation: Take pictures of repairs and damages.
Competencies
  1. Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge: Possess good knowledge of electricity and mechanics.
  2. Electronics and Hydraulics: Have basic knowledge of electronics and hydraulics.
  3. GSE Knowledge: Have good knowledge of GSE, including types and site-specific needs.
  4. Airport Regulations: Be familiar with airport regulations.
  5. Maintenance Plans: Have a good understanding of maintenance plans and processes.
  6. Critical Safety Procedures: Have a good understanding of critical safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  7. 5S Principles: Understand the 5S principles and their application in the workshop.
  8. Local Regulations: Be aware of local and specific regulations on GSE.
  9. Customer Requirements: Understand customer requirements and expectations.
  10. Desire to Progress: Have a desire to progress and take on new challenges.
  11. Work Ethic: Possess a solid work ethic and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  12. Team Player: Be a team player and work collaboratively with others.
