We are seeking a skilled Electronics R&D/Mechatronics Engineer to join our team at Iris Technology Solutions. As a leading engineering company, we specialize in process monitoring and control solutions and novel technologies for process optimization.

You will work collaboratively with our team of scientists and engineers on R&D projects to develop industrial solutions across various sectors, including food, pharmaceuticals, and monitoring.

We operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where you will be challenged to learn new technologies and contribute to the growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement electronic systems for our R&D efforts and products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  2. Instrumentation Selection: Select and specify instrumentation, including sensors and components, for monitoring systems at laboratory and industrial installations.
  3. PCB Design and Development: Design, develop, and test printed circuit boards (PCBs) from prototyping to production, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
  4. Programming and Embedded Systems: Develop low-level programming skills for microcontrollers and embedded programming using languages such as C, C++, and Qt.
  5. Project Management: Participate in all development phases, including specifications, design, build, acceptance tests, and installation and validation of equipment at client/partner facilities.
  6. Order Management and Coordination: Manage orders, coordinate outsourced activities with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  7. Technical Documentation: Prepare technical reports and manuals for the systems developed.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of industry or R&D experience is required.
  3. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in hardware design, PCB design, and components assembly, as well as low-level programming for microcontrollers and embedded programming.
  4. Communication Skills: Good level of English (C1) is required.

  2. Communication and Presentation: Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  3. Decision-Making: Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical information and make informed decisions.
  4. Proactivity and Enthusiasm: Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
  5. Autonomy: Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects and tasks.
