Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of comprehensive solutions tailored for manufacturing applications utilizing the Microsoft Azure technology stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and structuring holistic solutions that cater to the specific needs of manufacturing environments.
- Engaging with key stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to capture business needs and convert them into robust architectural frameworks.
- Assessing and choosing suitable Azure services and components to align with application requirements.
- Establishing integration methodologies to ensure seamless connectivity between manufacturing applications and other platforms.
- Guaranteeing the security, scalability, and performance of the architectural solutions, with a focus on data privacy, network reliability, and system uptime.
- Producing comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural schematics, design outlines, and system manuals.
- Offering technical leadership and mentorship to development teams during the execution phase.
- Conducting thorough code and design evaluations to ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices.
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments in Azure technologies and the manufacturing sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in solution architecture and design, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial context.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience with the Microsoft Azure technology stack, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Data Services.
- Strong grasp of integration patterns, protocols, and tools, such as API management, message queuing, and ETL processes.
- Experience with large-scale integrations and the ability to design solutions capable of managing substantial data volumes and transactions.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages, including C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and addressing complex technical issues.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly valued.
