Audit Supervisor Spain: Lead Global Assurance Team

ArcelorMittal, the world's leading steel company, is seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join its Global Assurance team in Spain. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and performing domestic and international audits across various areas of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple multinational audit teams working on various assignments in Spain and for transversal audits across Europe.
- Lead and participate in operational and financial audits, including planning, developing audit programs, assessing control environments, and testing internal controls.
- Identify and recommend process improvements in the internal control framework and value addition opportunities.
- Create assignment reports summarizing findings and providing suggestions for remediation.
- Liaise with individuals from various disciplines within the Company and its subsidiaries.
- Develop relationships and maintain the internal perception of audit as a strategic partner.
- Participate in the periodic follow-up of audit recommendations.
- Apply data-analytical procedures in performed assignments, enhancing the use of digital tools.
- Minimum 10 years of extensive experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, SOx, Internal Controls, Risk Management, etc.
- University degree in Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or Law.
- Working proficiency in English and Spanish; other languages are an advantage.
- Understanding of ArcelorMittal processes and concept of controls.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of SAP.
- Use of big data/data analytics experience; experience in data analytical tools and/or Power BI or other data visualization tools is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of finance, accounting principles, and/or business processes.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
- Ability to work both in teams and individually.
- Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, including discussing difficult issues with management.
- Professional qualifications (ACCA/Chartered Accountant, CIA, CISA, CFE) or other professional qualifications are an advantage.
