Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Build Engineer to join our DevOps team at Scopely. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our tools, services, and infrastructure that empower our development team to bring the best gaming experience to our target platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve the services and infrastructure for our automation machines
  • Expand the build systems to support new platforms and new automated workflows
  • Collaborate with the game team to understand their needs and challenges to propose and build new automated workflows that empower them
  • Help shape and drive the roadmap for the team to ensure we are focused on areas of impact
  • Provide support for troubleshooting build and deployment issues, resolving them in a timely manner

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in build engineering, with experience in game development/build pipelines
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript, Python, Ruby, Groovy, or Bash
  • Experience with build automation tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, Fastlane, or Unity Cloud Build
  • Comprehensive knowledge of source control systems - primarily Git
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • To be proactive in understanding and meeting the needs of development teams and stakeholders
