About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Axa Group. As a key member of our central team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in Azure Cloud implementation and operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the migration of business applications from local data centers to the public cloud (PaaS and IaaS), from analysis to solution design to infrastructure implementation.
  • Enhance and operate a complex, hybrid cloud environment running thousands of applications globally.
  • Design and implement platform and deployment automation using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Azure App Services, Azure VMs, and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with local and global security, compliance, operations, and finance teams to ensure safe and stable platform operations.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful, near-real-time reports and manage PowerBI dashboards for finance teams.

Requirements

  • Multiple years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, especially with Azure VMs, App Services, Azure Storage technologies, and Azure Database PaaS services.
  • Experience in architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
  • Good knowledge of common development tools (Git, GitHub, Sonarqube, Confluence, Jira).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).
  • Good knowledge of Azure networking/load balancing technologies, Application Gateways, VPN, ExpressRoute, VNETs, subnetting, firewalls, etc.
  • Practical experience migrating applications from data centers to the Azure cloud, including basic knowledge of database (cross) migration.
  • Basic experience in cloud governance in an Enterprise environment (incl. user and subscription management).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and security automation.
  • Excellent English language skills and willingness to work in an international setting.
