About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Group Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure Cloud technologies, including Azure VMs, App Services, and Azure Storage.
- Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud-based solutions meet business requirements and are aligned with company goals.
- Develop and maintain cloud governance policies and procedures to ensure secure and compliant cloud operations.
- Provide training and support to development teams on cloud best practices, automation, and cost optimization.
- Work with security and compliance teams to ensure safe and stable platform operations.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide meaningful insights to finance teams.
Requirements:
- Multiple years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, especially with Azure VMs, App Services, and Azure Storage technologies.
- Experience architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
- Good knowledge of common development tools, including Git, GitHub, Sonarqube, Confluence, and Jira.
- Proficient in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Node.Js, Bash, or Power Shell.
- Good knowledge of Azure networking and load balancing technologies, including Application Gateways, VPN, ExpressRoute, VNETs, subnetting, and firewalls.
- Practical experience migrating applications from datacenter to the Azure cloud, including basic knowledge of database (cross) migration.
- Basic experience of cloud governance in an Enterprise environment, including user and subscription management.
- Basic knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and security automation.
