About the Role

This position is responsible for executing contracting and sales support processes for new, transactional, and renewal sales. You will also respond to customer queries regarding all processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with a global team to ensure end-to-end processes are executed efficiently and effectively for both Elsevier and the customer;
  2. Participate in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements for the purchase or sale/delivery of Elsevier products;
  3. Evaluate contract compliance and advise on contractual rights and obligations, including facilitating amendments to contract terms or extensions;
  4. Assist in preparing bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements, negotiating contract terms, and determining acceptable bids;
  5. Serve as the main customer contact for queries related to agreement status, invoicing, title reconciliation, and subscription terms;
  6. Provide information to customers regarding purchase history validation, solution access deactivation, usage statistics, and Elsevier pricing models;
  7. Coordinate large complex deal alignment and efforts to facilitate discussions across internal stakeholders, delivering proposals and agreements that meet our policies and capture customer requirements;
  8. Process and invoice on time according to team targets for assigned territories;
  9. Engage stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional support to progress business in a meaningful and efficient manner, including participating in projects and continuous improvement efforts.
