About the Role:

RMIT University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications and Engagement Manager to join our dynamic team in Barcelona. As a key member of our European hub, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies to engage with diverse audiences, including industry, government, research, alumni, students, and media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute communications plans to promote RMIT University's brand, research, and academic programs in Europe.
  • Manage and maintain the RMIT Europe website, ensuring accurate and up-to-date content.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify communication needs and opportunities, and provide strategic advice to support business objectives.
  • Plan and deliver external events, conferences, and workshops to showcase RMIT University's expertise and research.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for various platforms, including social media, email newsletters, and thought leadership publications.
  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to inform future strategies and optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor a team of communications professionals to ensure seamless delivery of communications activities.
