Customer Order Execution Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Order Execution Lead to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our EMEA supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing the customer order book from configuration through shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the customer order book, including configuration, production scheduling, and shipment to customer
  • Purchasing and planning of materials to support 4.5 to 5.0 builds, including management of purchasing, planning parameters, and execution and maintenance of Purchase Orders
  • Train, document, and maintain competency of team regarding local ERP system
  • Operations reporting, conception, creation, and maintenance
  • Local S&OP and demand planning champion, champion sales funnel, configuration, and demand requirements within the COE, aligned to sales operation's organization
  • NPI activity: Order Planning, Production Scheduling, and Purchasing, including peripheral market opportunity analysis, along with representing GSC from a material availability and cost perspective
  • Manage configurations of bills of materials for correct market specifications to meet compliant and functionality requirements, as well as on cost
  • Manage end of life product phase out strategy with sales and product team to manage provision risk of inventory whilst still meeting commercial requirements
  • Effective inventory management and financial targets set, meet nominal days required and inventory turns per year set, as well as gross inventory levels
  • Account management and relationship management of international freight forwarders and local transport providers, including managing costs to budgets and meeting budgets
  • Strategic sourcing to drive efficiency across EMEA, including contract negotiation & supplier management where required, work with the product and commercial teams, to set up suppliers and or new product with suppliers in place
  • Management of the demand plan, aligned to the sales to plan pipeline to drive S&OP management and region alignment with global teams

Requirements:

  • Strong supply chain management skills, with experience in managing customer orders, purchasing, and planning
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software
  • Strong business acumen, with ability to understand commercial requirements and drive business growth
