Job Summary
The Banqueting Assistant Trainee will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong understanding of the outlet's concept and food and beverage offerings, as well as the ability to operate the point of sales system efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that mise en place is completed shift to shift and during service to provide an efficient service.
- Operate the required steps on the point of sales system to process food and beverage orders.
- Properly up-sell services and products to guests to enhance service and generate increased revenue.
- Conserve all outlet equipment and utensils in good condition by proper day-to-day handling.
- Assist in picking up required stocks, including linen, beverage, and dried goods.
- Perform any tasks relating to billing according to hotel standards and cashiering policies.
- Create WOW moments to surprise and delight guests in the Restaurants through gestures and other actions.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm to contribute in a fast-paced environment with F&B dynamics.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations.
