Main Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and oversight to the Spanish and Portuguese entities, ensuring alignment with Hyva's global financial objectives.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely country reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Financial Operations: Oversee all aspects of accounts receivables, accounts payable, general ledger, and associated internal controls, ensuring efficient and effective financial processes.
- Interannual Budgeting: Support the Country Management Team in developing and implementing the interannual budget, ensuring alignment with Hyva's global financial strategy.
Key Accountabilities:
- Country Performance: Support the Country Management Team in achieving country key performance indicators (KPIs), driving business growth and profitability.
- Financial Planning and Control: Develop and implement planning and control cycles, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly analyses, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Internal and External Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Asset Protection: Ensure adequate safeguarding of Hyva assets, maintaining a strong control environment.
- General Accounting and Closing: Manage general accounting and closing procedures, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Consolidated Financial Reports: Prepare consolidated financial reports based on IFRS and Hyva Group Policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, as well as internal controls.
- Tax and Internal Control: Coordinate tax and internal control activities, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Payroll and Benefits: Manage the monthly processing of payroll, including overtime, expense claims, and travel expenses, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Salary Payments: Coordinate salary payments in cooperation with the HR department, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Payroll Tax: Process journal entries and provide payroll tax, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting (preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in financial leadership and control.
- Skills: Advanced analytical skills, trend analysis, and excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.
- Language: Strong command of English; fluent in Spanish is a must.
