About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral/research scientist to join our team at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO). The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant discipline and at least three years of experience as a postdoctoral scientist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in cancer biology and immunity, with a focus on mouse models of cancer and tumor immunology.
  • Develop and implement new research projects, and collaborate with other researchers to achieve common goals.
  • Write and publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals, and present research findings at international conferences.
  • Supervise students and contribute to the development of the research group.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and apply this knowledge to improve research outcomes.
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant discipline, such as cancer biology, immunology, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience as a postdoctoral scientist, with a strong background in cancer biology and immunity.
  • Excellent technical skills in cell biology and tumor immunology, including experience with mouse models of cancer.
  • Fluent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in manuscript writing and supervision of students, with a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
