What You'll Do

As a Senior IT Architect, you will work closely with case team members to assess and coach our clients' IT teams, define IT strategies, architecture solutions, and apply your technical know-how and understanding of business contexts. You will be responsible for owning the delivery for a specific project module and help develop technical concepts for that module.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and coach clients' IT teams to define IT strategies and architecture solutions
  • Own the delivery for a specific project module
  • Help develop technical concepts for that module
  • Coach other project members and help lead other consultants in their own work stream, when possible
Requirements
  • Between 5-10 years of experience in data strategy, technical project management, or technology consulting with a proven track record in leading IT implementation projects
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in designing robust data architectures, including data platforms and pipelines, with a strong focus on ETL processes using cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud)
    • Extensive hands-on experience in implementing data solutions using a variety of platforms such as Apache Hadoop ecosystem (including Kafka, Storm, and Spark), Elastic Search, and other related technologies
    • Expertise in both relational (SQL) and non-relational databases (such as Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB), with a solid understanding of Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) and non-MPP data storage systems
  • Data Systems Expertise:
    • Strong background in data integration platforms, orchestrating complex data workflows and transformations using tools such as DataStage, Informatica, and Data Factory
    • General knowledge of data storage, query, processing, and exposition technologies and trade-offs
    • Experience in the design and implementation of Data & Analytics (D&A) operation scaling process framework (DataOps and MLOps), in order to ensure the productivity, reliability, and security of a Data platform
    • Proven experience in designing and implementing forward-thinking Data Mesh architecture models that align with business goals and support scalability
  • Desirable Expertise:
    • Familiarity with regulations and compliance standards relevant to data security and privacy (such as GDPR, CCPA)
    • Proficient in implementing data governance and stewardship frameworks to enhance data quality and ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards, such as GDPR and CCPA
    • Skilled in deploying Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies to safeguard critical information
  • Interpersonal & Leadership Skills:
    • A strong analytical mindset for evaluating complex IT application landscapes and optimizing development processes
    • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and provide technical leadership
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture to guide strategic decisions and innovations
  • Industry Experience:
    • Strong experience in either the banking or energy sector, demonstrating a proven track record in major projects and innovations within one of these industries
