About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Scheduler to join our team at Amazon. As a Logistics Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of Heavy/Bulky shipments to our customers across the EU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute daily same day or next day forecasts to ensure accurate delivery schedules.
  • Plan delivery routes or monitor the volume flow, affecting tens of thousands of packages at EU level.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standard work for the network to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Communicate with various departments, facilitating the flow of information between different stakeholders and resolving any potential issues that impact business continuity.
  • Conduct research into process improvement initiatives and take real-time decisions to optimize operations.
  • Maintain and report up-to-date and accurate statistics, management reports, and analysis to inform business decisions.
About the Team

You will work across the EU in a cross-functional environment with the Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, and Ground Transportation teams to support our day-to-day operations.

Requirements
  • Relevant experience in analytical tasks or projects, working with data.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR).
  • Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Previous experience within transportation or logistics.
  • Working experience on programming and coding languages (SQL or Python).
