**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer Process Development - Intelligent Automation to join our team at BD. As a key member of our Intelligent Automation team, you will be responsible for developing site-specific Intelligent Automation roadmaps, designing and implementing process optimization strategies, and collaborating with manufacturing site teams to improve efficiency and product quality.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop site-specific Intelligent Automation roadmaps inclusive of digital solutions, machine learning, and commonality of technical solutions across other sites.
  • Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing site teams to conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending technological solutions.
  • Complete process concept, project charters, and business justification, risk analysis, feasibility/Proof of Concept, Automation FAT, SAT, and validation.
  • Manage external contractors and vendors for process development and technology transfer projects.
  • Collaborate with the DTO team members and other required functions to develop and implement playbooks for implementation and replication of intelligent automation technology solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues, improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures when required.

**Requirements**

  • Strong relationships with counterparts in Manufacturing/Operations, business units, Global Integrated Engineering, BD Excellence, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance.
  • Mentoring and building of engineering capabilities to support the continuous evolution of Intelligent automation technology through skills identification and assessment, capability building, and training of associates.
