We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Treasury to join our team in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid. This position is for our PagoNxt Payments eMoney entity, focused on enabling fast and efficient pay-in and pay-out services worldwide to banks, PSPs, and digital platforms.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our treasury function and define strategies to enable our payments model, achieve financial goals, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Treasury Strategies: Define and implement treasury strategies to support our payments model and achieve financial goals.
  • Liquidity Management: Ensure effective management of liquidity, investments, and financial risks to safeguard client funds.
  • Financial Risk Management: Monitor and manage financial risks, including currency exchange, interest rate, and credit risk.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with financial institutions and network areas to ensure optimal liquidity services and facilities.
  • Policy Implementation: Implement and update treasury policies, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in treasury management, with a combination of experience in Banking and eMoney or Payments Institutions.
  • Skills: Solid knowledge of financial markets and instruments, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills, effective communication.
