The successful candidate will work closely with our senior environmental planners and other team members to prepare environmental documents, including CEQA and NEPA documents, for a diverse range of clients and projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from habitat restoration to climate resiliency, and to contribute to the growth and development of our team.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Planner who is passionate about environmental planning and has a strong understanding of environmental regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Preparing environmental documents, including CEQA and NEPA documents
  • Working closely with senior environmental planners and other team members to develop project plans and strategies
  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop effective solutions
  • Managing projects from initiation to completion, including coordinating with team members and external stakeholders

Location: Flexible within California, with a strong preference for our northern California offices (San Rafael, Emeryville, or Petaluma). We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with the option to work in person, fully remote, or in a combination of both. Occasional travel may be required for site visits, meetings, and public hearings.
