About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced International HR Specialist to join our team in Spain or Portugal.
As our in-house HR expert, you will be responsible for handling complex people-related matters and owning the EOR employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, orientation, employee support, performance management, payroll, and benefits.
You will provide high-level support to our EOR employees, serving as the first point of contact for any HR-related queries.
Additionally, you will provide administrative support, generating reports, employment verification letters, and HRIS administration.
As a local expert, you will help our product and operations teams create systems that can scale with Deel.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement HR strategies to support the growth and success of Deel's global operations.
- Manage the EOR employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless onboarding, offboarding, and employee support.
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to employees, management, and other stakeholders.
- Administer HR-related tasks, including payroll, benefits, and performance management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR-related processes and systems.
- 5+ years of international HR experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Qualifications and certifications in UK HR are a valuable asset.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify, scope, and resolve complex and sensitive HR issues.
- Data-driven approach, with a focus on improving response times and employee experience.
- Experience using JIRA, Zendesk, Intercom, or other ticketing tools is a plus.
