About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Delivery Manager to join our Digital & Tech Business Platforms team at Roche. As a key member of our global procurement organization, you will play a critical role in driving our digital transformation and delivering business value through strategic sourcing and procurement excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute category strategies and tactical initiatives to drive procurement excellence and deliver business value.
  2. Conduct market and internal analysis to develop strategies and influence the delivery managers to prioritize project portfolios.
  3. Collaborate with procurement and business stakeholders to build and implement comprehensive sourcing and spend management plans.
  4. Develop and execute category strategies and tactical initiatives to drive procurement excellence and deliver business value.
  5. Act as a role model and influencer for the team, supporting the extended team in global projects, communities, or networks within the GP organization.
  6. Manage suppliers and internal stakeholder relationships to contribute to the aim of the GP organization.
  7. Develop core capabilities to drive effectiveness and efficiency of our procurement activities for an improved customer experience.
  8. Deliver on customer priorities and opportunities while enabling Roche to meet its societal and environmental commitments.
Requirements
  • University degree, preferably in business, with 7+ years of experience in global category management, strategic sourcing, complex procurement contracting, and operational category efficiency projects.
  • Solid leadership experience with strong influential skills.
  • Proven data-driven decision making.
  • Extensive IT sourcing, IT procurement, and/or IT vendor management experience and specific category knowledge in IT Professional Services, Infrastructure, Application Services, and/or Software Licensing from a large-scale organization.
  • Demonstrated project management and negotiation skills.
  • Business-level fluency in English.
