Senior Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Employment team in Leeds. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in advising clients on employment matters, with a focus on complex discrimination, whistleblowing, and breach of contract litigation.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a busy and varied workload of employment matters, advising clients on employment law and providing strategic advice on complex cases.
- Work on complex discrimination, whistleblowing, and breach of contract litigation, including Employment Tribunal and High Court cases.
- Assist on non-contentious projects, including restructures, redundancies, and TUPE transfers.
- Provide general employment advisory work, including telephone and email advice.
- Supervise the work of trainees and paralegals, and assist in their development.
- Take part in marketing, networking, and business development activities to maintain and develop work from existing clients and potential clients.
- 6+ years of post-qualification experience as a Senior Associate in employment law.
- Experience of advising clients in the financial services sector and multi-national commercial clients.
- Experience of working on tribunal claims and other contentious matters.
- Ability to think independently and generate commercial solutions to problems on behalf of clients.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships with clients and influence at all levels.
- Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
