Job Title: Associate Director Global Supply Chain – Gpo Materials Planning

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Global Supply Chain team in Materials Planning. As Associate Director, you will be responsible for defining and sustaining global business processes, driving improvements, and governing execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and document global business processes for Materials Planning operations
  • Design process flow, key success measures, and interaction with other processes
  • Implement transformational or continuous improvement changes to the process
  • Benchmark the process amongst industry peers
  • Train users on the business process
Strategy and Governance:

You will develop a strategic vision for the business process in line with overall business objectives. This includes making recommendations for Materials Planning process development and improvement, and making decisions to align processes, organizational roles, and technology.

Process Design and Improvement:

As an expert in process design, you will serve as a key team member in major process Global Supply Chain design changes. You will document and map the global business process, capture and analyze business requirements, and translate these into standardized business processes.

Measurement and Continuous Improvement:

You will track benefits and improvements into the business, channel continuous improvement ideas, and select suitable ones to turn into projects. You will also ensure the Materials Planning review processes happen on time.

Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in Materials Management, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 5 years of manufacturing and/or supply chain experience with understanding of material flows, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong Materials Movement business process knowledge
  • Knowledge of systems required to plan, buy, and manage materials
Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good problem-solving and influencing skills
  • Ability to analyze project needs and balance competing interests
