Building Management System Expert

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Senior Building Management System (BMS) Specialist to support the recruitment, lead and mentor a newly established team at Amazon Spain Fulfillment, S. L. U. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong technical foundation in BMS programming, coupled with exceptional leadership skills and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, mentor, and inspire fellow BMS Specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for maintaining, improving, and expanding our global support services.
- Design, implement and manage advanced BMS Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, specifications and processes which are scalable across the globe.
- Maintain and optimize BMS technologies, IoT platforms, and data analytics of the BMS.
- Monitor and maintain ticket/work order processes and queues while ensuring customer care and quality meet the high bar.
- Monitor and analyze BMS data to proactively identify and action opportunities for optimization, energy efficiency, and cost savings.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring a customer-centric approach.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to management on BMS trends, improvements, issues, team skillsets, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful execution of BMS initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with WWRE, D&C, Sustainability, RME and other stakeholders to comprehend customer requirements, business objectives, and operational needs.
- Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and certifications to ensure compliance and best-in-class performance.
- Drive a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.
