Job Description

The Senior Corporate Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the monthly financial closing process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Corporate Accounting Manager in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for all entities worldwide.
  • Managing leases and group bookings, including ASC 842 compliance.
  • Preparing commissions, purchasing accounting, and integrating M&A activities.
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts and preparing journal entries.
  • Liaising with external auditors for statutory and consolidated audits.
  • Providing backup and coverage for other team members as needed.
  • Supporting adherence to internal control processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting, preferably in the 'Big 4'.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • NetSuite (Oracle) experience a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including Sarbanes Oxley Act, US GAAP, and IFRS.
  • Ability to understand and critically assess financial business processes.
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in English required, with another European language a plus.
