Job Description:

Program Overview:

As a graduate avionics systems engineer, you will be part of a two-year development journey that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to become an established team member in your position. You will be working on the development of RPAS Ground Control Stations for current programs such as Eurodrone or SiRTAP, and will be involved in the definition of new systems architectures for new systems such as FCAS (Future Combat Air Systems).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of RPAS Ground Control Stations for current programs
  • Definition of new systems architectures for new systems
  • Enabling the implementation of a GCS System, consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements
  • Close working with transnational partners and stakeholders, in deep collaboration with System and Software Engineering design and other disciplines such as Safety or Certification

Development Pathway:

Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position. You will be mentored and supported for new competences linked to Ground Control Stations, and will have the chance to learn and be involved in the definition of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a GCS System and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.
