Job Overview:

Airbus is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Global Graduate Programme as an Avionics Systems Engineer. This two-year development programme will provide you with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, develop your skills, and become an established team member in your position.

As an Avionics Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing RPAS Ground Control Stations for current programmes such as Eurodrone or SiRTAP. You will also be involved in defining new systems architectures for new systems such as FCAS (Future Combat Air Systems). Additionally, you will enable the implementation of a GCS System, consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements.

You will be part of a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation. You will have the opportunity to learn and be involved in the definition of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a GCS System and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.

During your development pathway, you will have a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position. At the end of the two-year development programme, you will have developed into the position of Avionics System Engineer.

Requirements:
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study.
  • Maximum of three years relevant work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English).
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
  • The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
