**Job Summary**

The Management Trainee - Shift Operations Specialist is responsible for driving store operations excellence and achieving shift sales and profit targets. This role requires a high level of expertise and mastery of shift management to ensure the successful execution of store operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Achieve Shift Sales Target**: Drive sales growth and achieve shift sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and techniques.
  • **Customer Service**: Provide top-tier customer service by addressing customer feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • **Leave Applications**: Approve or disapprove leave applications during the shift in the absence of the Assistant Store Manager.
  • **Community Relations**: Assist the Store Manager in community relations activities to promote the company's image and reputation.
  • **Task Clarification**: Clarify tasks, activities, and schedules during the shift to ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities.
  • **Government Permits**: Ensure the completeness of government permits and store requirements, such as health certificates, mayor's permits, business permits, BIR permits, etc.
  • **Cash Control**: Ensure compliance with cash control, employee discipline, and all company policies and procedures.
  • **Crew Productivity**: Ensure crew productivity by following crew schedules and monitoring man-hours usage.
  • **Safety and Security**: Ensure the effectiveness of the safety and security program by implementing standard procedures and control systems, documenting feedback, and conducting necessary follow-through and corrective actions.
  • **Reports**: Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of required reports.
  • **Cleaning Activities**: Execute cleaning activities, including opening and closing procedures.
  • **Program Implementation**: Implement assigned programs and ensure standards compliance during the shift.
  • **Cost Management**: Implement cost management activities, standards, and procedures during the shift.
  • **Customer Survey**: Implement customer survey and interact with customers during the shift.
  • **Feedback and Suggestion System**: Implement feedback and suggestion system from sales building to evaluation during the shift.
  • **Manpower Schedule**: Implement manpower schedule.
  • **Store Merchandising**: Implement proper store merchandising.
  • **Sales Program**: Implement sales program during the shift.
  • **Preventive Maintenance**: Implement scheduled preventive maintenance, provide feedback on supplier's service, and implement equipment checklists.
  • **Speed of Service**: Implement speed of service programs, including turnaround time, table turnover during peak, and attention to pending orders.
  • **Leadership**: Lead service crew for highest product quality and supplies availability, ensuring product availability during the shift.
  • **Office Organization**: Maintain office organization and orderliness during the shift.
  • **Inventory Management**: Maintain optimum inventory levels during the shift and minimize usage.
  • **Crisis Prevention**: Manage and implement crisis prevention programs and processes during the shift.
  • **Floor Control**: Manage overall floor control and shift operations.
  • **Crew Performance**: Monitor crew performance during the shift.
  • **Crew Morale**: Motivate and boost crew morale to achieve shift objectives.
  • **Opening and Closing Procedures**: Supervise opening and closing procedures.
  • **Repairs and Maintenance**: Track repairs, maintenance, and utilities costs during the shift, recommend measures, and ensure proper documentation and guidelines implementation.

**Requirements**

  • **Education**: College graduate preferably in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business related course, Behavioral Science, and Industrial Engineering courses.
  • **Experience**: 2-3 years supervisory function in a restaurant or quick service restaurant.
