Homologation Product Manager

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of expert engineers in the management of a section with 4 teams, overseeing 20+ staff members and 10 additional staff.
- Oversee the entire business execution and development in the field of truck, tractor, and trailer homologation, including active and passive safety matters, environmental issues, alternative propulsion systems, electric vehicles, and hydrogen fuel cells.
- Manage Homologation projects within a team of homologation engineers, handling budgets, quotations, planning, execution, and control.
- Supervise and execute tests in proving grounds (dynamic tests) and laboratories (emission tests).
- Engage in technical discussions with manufacturers and authorities.
- Responsible for people development, training, and qualifications.
- Maintain relations with Ministries and accreditation agencies, participate in commercial shows, and attend technical conferences or congresses.
- Ensure quality standards in projects.
- Participate and lead European R+D innovation projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of Homologation experience in the automotive field, with at least 5 years as a team leader.
- Experience in people team management, engineering project management in an international environment.
- Knowledge and experience in project management (resources, timings, budgets, planning, calendars, management of deviations, etc.).
- Knowledge of automotive technologies, particularly new disruptive ones, such as active or passive safety, environmental issues, alternative propulsion systems, electric or hydrogen fuel cells.
- Experience in activities related to European institutions and R+D projects.
- Experience in regulations, standards, or quality control.
- Desirable knowledge of regulations and approval processes.
- Able to work in multidisciplinary teams and travel abroad frequently.
- Able to work in challenging environments and meet program, calendar, and budget requirements.
Education:
- MSc in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aeronautics engineering or similar.
- Other specialities possible depending on proven skills and experience.
Languages:
- High level of English is a must.
- Other languages will be valued.
