About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Architect to join our dynamic team at Roche, a leading research-focused healthcare group. As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, with a focus on Salesforce SFDC and cross-cloud migrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.
  • Utilize knowledge of architectural principles of cloud-based platforms, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, integration patterns, and application servers.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient deployment of applications and updates in the cloud environment.
  • Facilitate seamless integration and data migration between different cloud platforms.
  • Exhibit awareness of platform-specific design considerations, including handling large data volumes, allocation limits, and data migration challenges.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Over 5 years experience as a Cloud Platform Architect or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce SFDC and cross-cloud migration with experience in AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or other major cloud providers.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud architectural principles, SaaS, PaaS, integration patterns, and application servers.
  • Proficient in release management, source control, and deployment technologies like CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services.
