Job Summary

M And J Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Audit Specialist to join our team. As an Audit Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating with our client service team to ensure the successful completion of audits and reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the client service team to plan, execute, and finalize audits and reviews.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, workpapers, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile client records to trial balance and perform analytical procedures to identify potential issues.
  • Conduct testing on internal controls, single audits, and other financial statements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on audit progress.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful completion of audits and reviews.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • CPA eligible required, CPA preferred.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and auditing standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with corporate, nonprofit, construction, single audit, yellow book, and employee benefit plan audits.
  • Experience with PoSystems fx Engagement, SMART E-Practice, and PPC Tool.
