About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join our Data & Researcher Services team at Boston Consulting Group. As a Research Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing secondary research in support of proposals, client cases, and business or IP development initiatives, with a specialization in Energy-related topics, particularly Power and Utilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage various research requests with high accuracy and organization, primarily on key topics related to Energy and Power and Utilities.
  • Engage in thought partnership with consulting teams and knowledge teams to understand, scope, and deliver accurate, timely, and relevant data and information.
  • Utilize and develop tools and technology to collect, summarize, and synthesize relevant data and information into appropriate, concise, timely, and highly effective outputs.
  • Work collaboratively with Research Associates and outsourcing partners to deliver data quality analysis and provide advanced synthesis and deep expertise in specialized research tools, databases, and sources.
  • Identify practical, timely, and innovative research approaches to meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements
  • 2-4+ years of relevant working experience in Energy topics, especially in Power and Utilities.
  • Bachelor's degree with a strong preference for business, economics, engineering, and sciences.
  • Excellent English, fluent Spanish. Additional European languages are valued (particularly German).
