We are in search of a proficient Supply Chain Data Engineer to oversee data management, engineer innovative solutions, and develop low-code applications.
The Supply Chain Data Engineer will report to the Senior Data Analytics Manager within the Supply Chain division.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Supply Chain Data Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include data modeling, analysis, and visualization. This role emphasizes the centralization and structuring of data, as well as the creation of applications to enhance information collection and dissemination throughout the organization.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading initiatives to centralize and organize data from diverse sources, including suppliers, manufacturing sites, and distribution centers, into the Azure Data Lake, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and accessibility.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to comprehend data requirements, business processes, and user needs, translating these into effective low-code solutions that facilitate data collection and improve decision-making.
- Designing and implementing data models, schemas, and structures to standardize data within the Azure Data Lake, enabling efficient data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
- Utilizing the Microsoft Power Suite, including Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate, to analyze data, create visualizations, automate workflows, and enhance data-driven insights across the organization.
- Developing low-code applications and user-friendly interfaces to streamline the collection of critical information from various business units and stakeholders, leveraging platforms such as Microsoft Power Apps, SharePoint, and other low-code development tools.
- Providing training, documentation, and ongoing support to business users and stakeholders on effectively utilizing low-code applications and data management tools, promoting adoption and maximizing the value of data-driven decision-making.

The team consists of Supply Chain Data Engineers, Digital Solutions Developers, and Data Analysts. You will collaborate closely with several departments, including logistics, manufacturing, quality, engineering, and IT. YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You should possess at least 3+ years of experience in data management, analytics, and web development roles. As an experienced Supply Chain Data Engineer, you thrive in a fast-paced, diverse, and international environment. Additionally, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in SQL and Python for data analysis and development tasks, including ETL processes and data governance frameworks.
- A strong understanding and experience with the Microsoft Power Suite (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate) for data analysis, visualization, and workflow automation.
- Proficiency in extracting, transforming, and loading data into MS SQL data tables, along with developing SQL queries and stored procedures for Power BI, with transferable skills in Databricks or Azure.
- Additional education, training, and/or certification in supply chain and analytics through MOOCs and/or professional organizations is preferred.
- A blend of data management and supply chain knowledge to collaborate closely with IT in defining supply chain data strategy, vision, governance, and overall requirements to support supply chain digitalization.
- Familiarity with other programming languages and/or web development.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, engage stakeholders, and drive cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, enabling effective communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.
