Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the business logic and backend systems that power our application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop clean, modern APIs that integrate with our frontend systems
  • Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and high-quality APIs
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code using test-driven development techniques
  • Build integration and connections to existing systems, including databases and legacy systems
  • Write unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks
Requirements
  • Experience as a backend developer in Node, Typescript, and AWS
  • Strong understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL stores
  • Ability to write effective unit, integration, and API tests
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts
  • Passionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging/disruptive technologies
