About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer Consultant to join our team at Fundació i2cat. As a Data Engineer Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients and partners navigate the complexities of data exchange and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients and partners to identify technical challenges and define solutions to address them.
  • Provide in-depth technical advice on data platforms and services to determine how they can participate in data space ecosystems.
  • Lead activities to identify technical challenges, define requirements, design solutions, and coordinate technical support.
  • Participate in the search for and development of new opportunities with colleagues from the business development department.
  • Represent the organization at sectoral clusters, forums, and events to promote data exchange technologies and standards.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in data systems engineering and design.
  • Experience working directly with clients without an intermediary interface.
  • Education/training in data engineering or computer science.
  • Native Catalan and Spanish + professional level English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and business profiles.
