About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer Consultant to join our Data Spaces team at Fundació I2Cat. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients and partners to design and implement secure data exchange solutions within B2B and G2B ecosystems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients and partners to define technological solutions to their challenges in secure data exchange.
  • Provide technical advice on clients' and partners' data platforms and services to determine how they can expand their solutions to participate in data space ecosystems.
  • Lead activities to identify technical challenges and define requirements to address them.
  • Design solutions to be implemented by the technical team.
  • Coordinate technical support with clients and partners who implement, configure, and use these solutions.
  • Participate in the search for and development of new opportunities with colleagues from the business development department.
  • Participate in sectoral clusters, forums, and events to promote data exchange technologies and standards.
About the Technologies

We will be working with a range of technologies, including IDS-RAM, Data Space Protocol, Eclipse Data Space Components, and Gaia-X. While prior experience with these technologies is not required, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with them during the onboarding process.
